Picture this – a room full of people all moving to the beats of Glorious Music, each person moving in connection with their own unique body, big smiles on their faces and a genuine feeling of joy in the room. This is what True Movement classes with Beverly Carter look like.

True Movement classes are a low impact way to move and exercise your body, so what exactly is True Movement?

True Movement classes are unlike any other form of traditional exercise class because they provide the opportunity to change unhealthy patterns of movement in the body. Unlike many exercise and dance classes that have the potential to add stress to bodies that are already experiencing stress, every movement in a True Movement class has been carefully put together to support people to reconnect to their bodies in a very specific and liberating way. What people commonly discover is that their bodies naturally know how to interpret each movement, regardless of perceived abilities; therefore how each person moves is specific to them, even though everyone is technically doing the same movement. This takes away the restricting feeling of having to ‘get it right’. It is as a result of the body’s freedom to move that people often describe a feeling of lightness and joy not felt since childhood!
 No special ‘active wear’ is required just comfortable clothing that allows your body to be able to move freely.
